Hello, Pink Friends!
Now that I have recovered fully from jet lag (traveling can be hard on a little bear), I will write of my adventures in that great city of the Middle East, Dubai.
The sun, the sand, the sights, the shopping...if ever you have the chance, you must go!
I saw the world's tallest building and met many friendly people.
I was very curious and excited about the traditional Arab way of dressing; however, I didn't find a store that sold clothing in my size. I wondered if I was too casual in my shorts and hoodie, but no one seemed to mind.
What gorgeous architecture! Dubai has a marvelous skyline and is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited.
I even met cats! As you may know, many good friends of mine are dogs, as we shop at the same boutiques. As for cats, the only one I know well is my housemate, Mango the Cat.
MTC and I get on very well, very well indeed. Oh, she has a wicked sense of humour and does like to play pranks! But we must take others as we find them: she's a good egg and shares her basket with me, and we've had many a good kip together. But it was in Dubai that I had my first experience with meeting new cats. They were a bit wary, never having met a bear before, but by the end of the afternoon they had invited me for tea, which I gladly accepted! What a marvelous time we had!
To me, this is what life is all about: travelling, making friends, drinking tea, taking pictures, and sharing my experiences with you all. Happy travels, and Pink Huggzz and Kisses!
